Holiday Office Closures
The Immigration Division offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from December 24, 2024 to January 2, 2025. Regular services will resume on January 3, 2025.
Important:
Applications submitted after December 20, 2024 will be processed after January 3, 2025.
Online Passport Renewal Service
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new online passport renewal service. Eligible applicants can now renew their passports entirely online without visiting our offices.
- • Available for standard passport renewals only
- • Must have current passport in good condition
- • Processing time: 10-15 business days
- • Fee: TTD $500
Updated Visa Processing Times
Processing times for visa applications have been updated based on current application volumes and staffing levels.
Tourist Visas
- • Standard: 15-20 business days
- • Express: 5-7 business days
Work Permits
- • Standard: 30-45 business days
- • Express: 15-20 business days
Document Requirements Update
Effective January 1, 2025, all immigration applications must include a valid national ID card or alternative government-issued photo identification.
Accepted Documents:
- • National ID card
- • Driver's license
- • Voter ID card
- • Government employee ID
